SUPERIOR, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin's only oil refinery and its inventory is being sold for about $474 million.
Murphy Oil Co., of El Dorado, Ark., is selling the plant in Superior to an Indianapolis petroleum company.
Calumet Specialty Products Partners will pay $214 for the refinery and $260 for the inventory.
The plant processes about 45,000 barrels of oil a day from western Canada and produces fuel and asphalt products.
Murphy put the refinery up for sale a year ago to focus on its national chain of gas filling stations.
The Superior Daily Telegram says the refinery employs about 156 people and is the city's biggest industrial facility and employer with a $100 million economic impact in 2010.
