GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Green Bay Packers players and coaches are more than ready to reconvene and begin work on defending their Super Bowl title.

The players are packing their bags for a return to Green Bay, some arriving before Friday's official start to training camp.

Second-year defensive end Mike Neal is among them. Neal says he's tired of waiting and working out. He booked a flight from Tampa to Green Bay minutes after a new labor deal was finalized. The Journal Sentinel says Neal will be in Green Bay Tuesday.

The NFL generally prohibited contact between team officials and players during the lockout, although the league did make exceptions that allowed the Packers to conduct a "Tailgate Tour" that raised money for charity and hold a ceremony for players to receive their Super Bowl rings last month.
