It's been three months since the tornadoes hit Merrill.
And the community is still getting together to help each other out. A community group threw a picnic to bring together victims of the storm, to give information about financial help, offer household items, and take a survey as to what is still needed by those affected.
"It's to bring everyone together," said Missy Holdorf, an organizer of the event. "We were finding over time that there were needs that weren't being met, and there were people that wanted to help, but didn't have that common ground where we can meet, and that's one of the reasons why we got this meal together."
Close to 100 people showed up to the event. The picnic was funded by private donations and local sponsors.
