WAUSAU (WAOW) -- The Wisconsin valley fair wrapped up today and families and friends got the chance to experience everything the Wisconsin valley fair had to offer.
A personal favorite of Sally Reinke, "I love the goats! I always make sure I go through and see the goats."
And for 11-year-old Kolton Niemann, "I really like the elephant ears. I go and walk around, try to find the stuff and it's cool."
No matter if it's the animals, food, or entertainment the Wisconsin Valley Fair brought in the crowds.
A week full of packed seats at the grand stand.
Livestock farmers and 4-H members working tirelessly to impress judges.
Some said it's sad to see the fair come to an end.
Fair Goer Genna Witz said, "You only get to see it once a year and it's really fun."
Mariah Budnick, Fair Administrator said the fair is a big part of summer.
"For some people when the fair is done, they feel like the summers over, but it's been a really good week and I think people have really enjoyed themselves out here, so we're excited for 2012 and ready to put on a show next year."
