LEXINGTON, Neb. (AP) -- A Wisconsin bank robbery suspect has been arrested in Nebraska.
The Nebraska State Patrol says 23-year-old Ricky Chiles, of Milwaukee, was arrested Saturday afternoon after he got off a bus when it stopped in Lexington.
The patrol had been alerted by the U.S. Marshals Service. The patrol says Chiles was believed to have taken the bus and was traveling through Nebraska on his way to Denver.
A Dawson County jailer said Tuesday that she couldn't verify whether Chiles remained in custody. She referred questions to the sheriff, who didn't immediately return a call.
