(CNN)--Singer Gavin DeGraw was released from a New York hospital today.
A representative for the artist says he suffered a concussion and a broken nose after a group of people assaulted him on a New York street late Sunday night.
The attack forced DeGraw to cancel his performance tonight opening for Maroon 5 and Train in Saratoga Springs.
He also canceled two other performances later this week.
DeGraw sent a message on Twitter today thanking his fans for their concern.
So far, no arrests have been made in the attack.
