Milk truck spills in Columbia Co., backs up traffic

WYOCENA (WKOW) -- Crews are cleaning up a large milk spill in Columbia County Friday morning.

WisDOT reports it happened just after 9 a.m. on WIS 22 at CTH G. in Wyocena.

Columbia County Sheriff Dennis Richards says according to the report filed, the driver had not placed pads under the trailer and the weight of the trailer caused it to sink into the blacktop and tip on its side.

Sheriff Hunter says the milk was contained in the parking area next to the Grande Cheese Factory.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Traffic in the area was backed up for about an hour.
