People in Mosinee celebrate the city's history at Log Jam
MOSINEE (WAOW) -- People in Mosinee are celebrating the history of their city at Log Jam this weekend. Newsline 9 was there as organizers set up on Friday. At the event, you'll find live music, food, games, and some art exhibits, as well as some cane pole fishing and canoe races. Organizers at the Chamber of Commerce said it's a great way to learn about the history of logging in Mosinee.
"The Wausau Paper Mosinee Division, we're celebrating 100 years of our mill, so it's a very special year this year, so we're hoping everyone comes down," said Tammy Campo with the Chamber of Commerce.
The event is free, and it is at River Park. There will also be a 5K Run on Saturday.
