(CNN)--The head of Starbucks isn't putting his money where his mouth is.
CEO Howard Schultz says he's sick of lawmakers in Washington failing to lead.
So that means he's not donating money to them.
Now, he wants other CEOs to follow his lead.
Schultz says it seems all politicians care about is reelection, so he wants a donation boycott to last until a long-term debt and deficit plan is devised.
He says he's heard back from thousands of Americans about his idea.
In the past, Schultz's political donations have leaned Democratic.
