CLARK COUNTY (WAOW) -- Clark County officials say volunteer opportunities are available as the county cleans up after Tuesday's tornado.
Michelle Hartness, director of Clark County Emergency Management, said any interested volunteers can go to the Town of Fremont Town Hall at N5671 Oak Street in Chili. Opportunities to help will be available from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 25, and Friday, August 26. Volunteers must have their own transportation.
Hartness said volunteers must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 if accompanied by a parent. Volunteers should bring work boots, closed-toed shoes, long pants, work gloves, sunscreen, bug spray, water, snacks, and food.
