Storms knock out power


UNDATED (WAOW)--Thousands are without power Friday morning as powerful thunderstorms rumble through the area.

Wisconsin Public Service reports 2,495 Waupaca County customers without power.

Alliant Energy reports 4,084 without power in Juneau County. Meanwhile 2,169 lost power in Adams County and 807 in Wood County.

Strong winds and rain knocked down power lines and trees in Juneau and Adams Counties.

Also in Adams County, the DOT reports that WIS 13 NB/SB near the Roche A Cri park entrance is closed because a tree fell on a car. Officials believe it should be cleaned up by 10:00 a.m. Friday.
