ADAMS COUNTY (WAOW) -- Hundreds of people still remain without power in Adams County, as well as Waushara and Waupaca counties.
Adams-Columbia Electric workers have been busy for five straight days restoring power to those areas.
As of 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, 270 customers are still experiencing outages. Multiple cooperative crews from around the state, and even as far as Minnesota, have been called to help with the large numbers.
"It is a slow, and very difficult process. But what the good part is now, we will be able to focus on the those areas, Waushara and Waupaca counties, the ones that are hardest hit," Keith Wohlfert, Communications Coordinator for Adams-Columbia Electric said.
Wohlfert also said that some homes without power are due to structural damage at their homes. In those cases, electricians have been called to help homeowners get back up and running.
