LINCOLN COUNTY (WAOW)--Since last week the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department has received several tips about a breeding buck that was shot and killed in a Town of Harrison deer farm.
Sheriff Jeff Jaeger says the Lincoln County Sportsman's Club has stepped up to solve the crime. The group is offering a $500 cash reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the shooter or shooters.
According to a sheriff's department report, the white-tailed deer was killed by a single gunshot some time between Thursday, September 1 and Tuesday, September 6.
The deer was worth $15,000.
