(CNN)--New home sales are down again for the fourth straight month.
That's coming from new Census Bureau numbers.
The agency says new home sales dropped two-point-three percent last month to a seasonally-adjusted annual rate of 295-thousand.
That's down from 302-thousand in July.
Still, the government says the numbers are up six percent over the same time last year.
This latest drop comes even though interest rates hit historical lows.
Areas of fog tonight; warm and humid Sunday with a shower or T-storm possible.
