MINOCQUA (WAOW)--A moose has been spotted wandering around Minocqua this week.
Tim Schultz was traveling through Wisconsin's Northwoods Wednesday night when he snapped a picture of a bull moose. Schultz says he was just off of Highway 70 between Minocqua and Lac du Flambeau when the moose trotted in front of him.
Meanwhile, Sue Esker says she spotted the moose on the south shore of Lake Shishebogama in Oneida County. Esker says the moose stayed around all day, grazing on trees and bushes.
The DNR says moose sightings are rare in Wisconsin, so if you see one you should let them know. You can email Wildlife management using the link under "trail camera photos wanted" on the DNR's webpage.
