Update: 2 charges dismissed in Wausau K2 case

WAUSAU (WAOW) - Two felony charges were dismissed against Justin Beese in Marathon County court on Monday, July 23rd.  But one felony charge still stands.

According to online records, the dismissed charges were for maintaining a drug trafficking place and dealer possession/untaxed controlled substance.  The judge denied Beese's request to drop the charge of possession with intent to deliver non-narcotics.

Beese's next court appearance has not been scheduled.

A man arrested in a K2 bust at a Wausau store last week faces three felony charges.

Dale Schroeder, 28, was arrested last week at the Lil' Devil's Glass, which he manages. Authorities say they found more than 250 packets of K2—or synthetic marijuana.

Police say Schroeder was arrested after selling K2 to an undercover officer.

The owner of the store, Justin Beese, also faces charges. Police seized $25,000 in cash and some marijuana from Beese's home in Shawano County.
