It was an unexpected delivery this morning for a woman in Madison.
A group of fire fighters helped deliver the woman's baby in her living room.
Four firefighters were called to an apartment just before nine this morning for what was being called an "imminent birth".
And that's exactly what it was.
About thirty seconds after they entered the woman's apartment, she started giving birth.
"David clamped the cord," David Ianne of the Madison Fire Department said. "I suctioned the nose. He was holding the baby. We dried the baby off."
"It was a girl," Firefighter Christopher Hahn said, "a beautiful baby girl. She came out crying and she was very healthy."
Mother and baby are now at a hospital in good health.
This is the woman's fourth child.
Chance of a shower or T-storm Sunday, otherwise the weekend forecast is looking good.
