Wis. news photographer arrested at Occupy event

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A photographer from a Milwaukee newspaper is one of three people arrested at a rally connected to the Occupy Wall Street movement.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel says Kristyna Wentz-Graff texted the newsroom Wednesday to say she was being arrested. Two others were also arrested.

Milwaukee police say all three ignored officers' repeated commands to clear the street. A police spokeswoman says the three were released from custody within two hours. The Milwaukee city attorney is expected to review the cases.

Wentz-Graff was covering a rally near the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Students there had been encouraged to walk out of classes Wednesday in solidarity with the Occupy organization in Oakland, California which had called for a wide-reaching general strike.
