UPDATE: Police identify Clark County Crash victims
CLARK COUNTY (WAOW) -
Officers have identified the victims of a Thursday crash in Loyal.
According to a press release, investigators say that Charles Bizjack, 59, of Greenwood was driving north on Pelsdorf Avenue when he apparently ran a stop sign and crashed into Brita Oldham, 22, of Willard who was driving west on 26th Road with her two children. Investigators further report that it appears that neither Bizjak nor Oldham were wearing their seat belts and were ejected during the crash.
The children, 4-years-old and 6-days-old, were both buckled in. They were taken to Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Authorities don't know the condition of either child.
The Clark County Sheriff's Department is still investigating the accident.
Officials say two people have died in a car crash in Clark County.
They say it happened around 2:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon in the Township of Loyal.
Police said one vehicle did not obey a traffic control sign and caused the crash.
Officials say both drivers were ejected and died at the scene.
They say two children were also taken to the hospital.
Their conditions are unknown. Police have not released the victims' names.
