MAINE, Wis. (AP) -- A central Wisconsin native has won a Norwegian reality television show.
Twenty-four-year-old Matti Rowe won "Alt For Norge," which translates to "All For Norway."
The "Amazing Race"-style show had 12 Americans of Norwegian heritage competing for the opportunity to meet long-lost relatives in Norway.
Rowe's family has been without contact with their Norway relatives for 150 years and Rowe says the chance to meet them was the opportunity of a lifetime.
The Oshkosh Northwestern reports (http://oshko.sh/w2HXLa) the show was taped between April and June. Rowe along with family and friends gathered at a town of Maine church to watch the show, which aired Sunday in Norway and worldwide on the internet.
Rowe and his family traveled to Norway to meet their relatives in June.
The Wausau native lives in Boulder, Colo.
