MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Marquette has signed three players for the class of 2012: junior college guard T.J. Taylor, center Aaron Durley and forward Steve Taylor.
Taylor signed with Oklahoma coming out of high school, but never played for the Sooners after sustaining a concussion. The 6-3, 220-pounder transferred to Paris Junior College in Texas and will join the Golden Eagles next season. Marquette coach Buzz Williams, who has had success trolling junior colleges for talent, says he originally tried to recruit Taylor to Marquette out of high school.
The 6-10, 270-pound Durley missed the 2010-11 season because of an Achilles injury and will play at Ft. Bend Bush High School in Texas this season.
Taylor, a 6-7, 210-pounder out of Chicago's Simeon High School, averaged 9.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game last season.
