Dahms' statement of confession won't be thrown out
PORTAGE COUNTY (WAOW) -- A statement of confession after an alleged murder will be considered in an upcoming Portage County trial.
Tyler Dahms is accused of killing Karen Dombrowski and stabbing her husband and brother-in-law after they broke up a party earlier this year. Dahms' attorney asked to throw out his client's statement of confession, which happened shortly after his arrest, but that motion was denied.
The trial is scheduled to start in January. Dahms also faces burglary charges, but those won't be included in the murder trial.
