Small plane with 4 people crashes at Mich. airport

FLINT, Mich. (AP) -- A plane carrying four people to Wisconsin has crashed at Flint's Bishop International Airport in Michigan.

Airport spokeswoman Pat Corfman says the four do not have life-threatening injuries. She says the twin-engine plane came in without an engine Wednesday, landed and then flipped.

Corfman says the plane came in "too fast" and the pilot lost control on the runway. She says four people were injured but walked away from the crash.

The Federal Aviation Administration says the plane belongs to Avantair, which offers private travel through fractional ownership of aircraft. shows the plane was headed to West Bend, Wis., before the pilot made an emergency landing at the Flint airport.

Corfman says the flight originated in St. Petersburg, Fla., although the FAA says it could have been Detroit.
