ROTHSCHILD (WAOW) -- The Everest Area Special Olympics team is looking for new members and volunteers.
The group held a open house at Coral Lanes in Rothschild on Sunday, where people met with the organizers and bowled a few frames.
Organizers encourage parents and children with specials need to become part of the team.
They say it's a great way to get involved and meet others through sports.
"We want to try an reach those athletes that maybe don't know about special olympics or have had the opportunity to train and compete, so we're just trying to reach those athletes who have never experience the thrill of being in special olympics," said Cheryl Domino, a Special Olympics Organizer.
The special olympics team will be bowling until the end of the year, then they will hit the water for swimming.
