Linnie R. (Richardson) Cudworth-Mocadlo, 86, passed away Monday, November 21, 2011, at Harmony Living Center in Stevens Point.

Linnie was born on January 25, 1925 in Coryell County, Texas in the Waco, Texas area. She was the daughter of the late Jesse W. and Myrtle Mae (Stephens) Richardson.

She married Bernard P. Cudworth on March 30, 1944 at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. They resided in the Plymouth, WI area for about 18 years. They relocated to Dallas, Texas and later moved to Custer, WI. Bernard passed away on March 21, 1983.

Linnie was a loving wife and mother. She was a wonderful homemaker and seamstress. She loved music, reading, gardening, and traveling. She worked at Sentry Insurance after Bernard's death. She later became a bookkeeper after her marriage to John Mocadlo, who she married on June 7, 1986 in Custer. He survives her and resides at Point Manor in Stevens Point.

Besides her husband John, Linnie is survived by four daughters; Sharron Lee Kurszewski, Custer; Charlotte Gagas, Stevens Point; Cheryl (Butch) Gagas, Custer; and Sheila (Bill) Raikowski, Mosinee; one son, Chad Cudworth, Wisconsin Rapids; son-in-law Norman Busa, Stevens Point; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Carrie) Kurszewski; Sally Johnson; Sandra (Jeff) Studinski; Sara (Paul) Stanchik, all of Stevens Point; Brenda Gagas, Phoenix, Arizona; Susanne Ligenza, Stevens Point; Eric (Carla) Gagas, Custer; Clayton Wahl, Mosinee; Rebecca (Corey) Allen, Quantico, Virginia; Stacey (Chris) Smart, Waukesha; Jolene (Harry ) ZeRuth, Stevens Point; Jill (Justin) Waite, Amherst; Shaynah Cudworth, Stevens Point; Regina Cudworth, Plover; 19 great grandchildren; three sisters, Pansy Ray, Odessa, Texas; Virginia (Leon) Henson, Gatesville, Texas; Pauline Shaw, Burnet, Texas; two brothers, Jacob Richardson and Johnny Richardson, both at Gatesville, Texas; 10 stepchildren, many nieces and nephews, two Goddaughters, Pauline (Randy) Harper, Winneconne; Sandra (Jeff) Studinski, Stevens Point; good friend and sister-in-law, Iona Richardson, San Antonio, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her first husband; her parents; her daughter, Shirley Busa; her son-in-law, James Kurszewski; four brothers, Jesse Jr., Harvey, Billy Wayne, and Dennis Richardson; father-in law and mother-in-law, Arthur and Frieda (Liebe) Cudworth; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Thomas and Delores (Schram) Cudworth; and brothers-in-law, Earl Ray, and Byron Shaw.

A mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2011 at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Parish, Custer. Father Jude Dioka will officiate. Visitation will be at the Shuda Funeral Chapel, Stevens Point, Friday, November 25th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the church on Saturday. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Friday evening. Burial will take place at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Plymouth, WI.

The family would like to thank the Ministry Medical Hospice nursing staff and volunteers, the Oakridge caregivers, and the Harmony caregivers for their exceptional care and support.
