SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) -- A 50-year-old Sheboygan man has been charged with sixth-offense drunken driving after police said he collided with one car, and then crashed again while making way for investigators.
Daniel C. Grosskreutz faces up to three years in prison if convicted of the charge filed Wednesday.
The criminal complaint says Grosskreutz's car hit another vehicle Tuesday afternoon. The crash was blocking the intersection so police directed both drivers into the parking lot of a nearby gas station.
The complaint says Grosskreutz pulled into a lot and struck another car parked there.
A Sheboygan Press report says police observed that Grosskreutz appeared intoxicated. The complaint says he initially denied drinking but later acknowledged having a little alcohol and taking several prescription drugs.
Online court records didn't list a defense attorney Thursday.
