ROTHSCHILD (WAOW) - The Annual Festival of Trees event wrapped up on Sunday at the Stoney Creek Inn in Rothschild.
Money raised by the week-long community event benefits Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
Area businesses donated 35 trees and other holiday items to help raise money for the cause.
Organizers said this year's goal is to raise $165,000.
"It takes all of us, our community, our businesses, our volunteers to be able to provide hospice so that it's there when we need it," said Kalynn Pempek, Aspirus Foundation Executive Director.
This was the 15th year Festival of Trees has been held.
Last year, they raised more than $150,000 to support Aspirus Hospice Services.
