Kristina Grace (O’Keefe) Mrozek

Kristina Grace (O'Keefe) Mrozek, 54, of the town of Stockton, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2011, as a result of a car accident.

Kristina was born on November 27, 1956, in Stevens Point, to James and the late Elizabeth O'keefe.

Kris married Michael D. Mrozek on March 30, 1974, in Custer. They resided in Stevens Point.

Kris was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her biggest joy was spending time in her garden. She was known for her involvement with Master Gardeners, Habitat for Humanity and Adopt a Grandparent with Terry W.

Kris's greatest love, Mike, and her spent their time vacationing in Alaska, Hawaii, and everywhere in between. She enjoyed baking, cake decorating, being a Grandma and watching her grandchildrens' sporting events. You could also find her with her friends at Adventure 212 and participating in marathons.

Kris had been employed with Furniture & Appliancemart, as well as Slumberland.

Besides her husband, Michael, Kris was survived by two sons, Jeremy (Heather) Mrozek, Plover, and Adam (Michelle) Mrozek, Plover; twin daughters, Amy Mrozek, Stevens Point, and Sara (Michael) Conkey, Wisconsin Rapids. She also has 14 grandchildren, Amber, Audrey, Brandon, Connor, Devin, Keondre, Tyrone, Amara, Dakotah, Mikyla, Aaron, Emily, Logan, and Talysa; and many siblings.

She was preceded in death by her mother and brother, Daniel.

Friends and family will gather to share memories on Monday, Nov. 28, 2011, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home, 703 2nd St., Stevens Point, with the rosary being prayed at 7 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Deacon Richard Rozumalski will officiate.

Each time we smile, an angel claps her hands with delight. . . Each time we make happy memories, an angel leaps for joy. . . May your birthday bring you so much joy that your celebration makes heaven a little happier. Happy Birthday, Grandma. LOVE your husband, children and grandchildren.
