TOWN OF LINCOLN, Wis. (AP) -- Authorities say foul play is not suspected in the discovery of a man's body in the Trempealeau River.
The Trempealeau County sheriff's office says a hunter called 911 Sunday morning to report the body's discovery. Officers responded and found the man's body in the Town of Lincoln.
Authorities say the death is not related to hunting or a hunting accident.
The body was taken to Regina Medical Center in Minnesota for identification. The man's name will not be released until his family is notified.
The sheriff's office had previously received a report of a walk-away from the nearby Trempealeau County Health Care Center.
