2 Wis. students charged in alleged sex assault

MEQUON, Wis. (AP) -- Two 18-year-old students from Mequon are charged with sexual assault of a child under 16 at Homestead High School.

The Ozaukee County district attorney charged both Brent P. Anderson and Deangelo D. Dantzler with the felony on Friday. District Attorney Adam Gerol tells the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that police booked and released the two men.

Both Anderson and Dantzler were members of school's football team.

According to the criminal complaint, a 14-year-old girl told a school liaison officer she had sexual activity with both Anderson and Dantzler in an open practice room at the school. The complaint says she also said she had sexual activity with another student, a 15-year-old.

Anderson and Dantzler could not be reached for comment. Online court records do not indicate an attorney for either.
