Naomi Glad, 77, of Custer, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011, at her residence surrounded by family. She was born October 24, 1934, in Breathitt County, Kentucky. She retired as office manager for the Kimberly Clark Mill in Whiting.
Hobbies included playing golf, fishing, watching football and playing cards with her card club and family.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Glad, Custer; one son, William Bayba, Stevens Point; one daughter, Virginia Mount, Hazard, KY; one stepson, Brian (Jennifer) Glad, Scandinavia; one step-daughter, Julie (Mark) Sheppard, Lansing, NC.
She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Karla Schroeder, Kris Krey, Michael Bayba, Kelsey Bayba, Levi Sheppard, Nathan Sheppard, Alexandria Glad and Samantha Glad; survivors also include seven great-grandchildren, six sisters and four brothers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
