Everest metro police arrest five for beating, pistol-whipping & robbing victim


Police arrested five people who they believe beat and robbed a Weston person but they are still searching for one more. 

The incident happened just after midnight on December 8. Everest Metro Police report that the suspects beat, pistol whipped and stole money from the victim at Green Acres Trailer Park. While the alleged crime was taking place, an officer was responding to an unrelated matter at the trailer. Police say the suspects were momentarily distracted and the victim was able to escape by jumping out the window. The suspects then took off running. 

The officer caught one suspect and found one of the pistols used during the robbery. 

The victim was treated for injuries. 

Police are requesting charges against a 27-year-old, an 18-year-old, two 17-year-olds and a 16-year-old. 

Investigators are still searching for another possible suspect. They are only describing him a black male.
