Security forces raid Argentine cable company HQ

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) -- Security forces have raided the headquarters of Argentina's largest cable television service as a judge probes allegations that Cablevision SA has abused its dominant position in the market.

The company is controlled by the media organization Grupo Clarin, which has often clashed with the government of President Cristina Fernandez. The company alleges in a statement that the raid is part of a "systematic campaign of harassment."

Cablevision's statement says the security agents left after presenting a demand for documents.

Federal Judge Walter Bento ordered the action as part of a complaint brought by a rival company that alleges anti-competitive practices.
