A new study finds that many police officers might be better at their jobs, if they had more restful sleep.
Researchers screened nearly five-thousand officers for the study.
They found 40% of them had at least one sleep disorder, including insomnia.
Officers with sleeping disorders were also more likely to make mistakes.
51% were more likely to fall asleep while driving.
People also had more bad things to say about them, with citizens filing 35-percent more complaints against those with sleeping disorders.
