WAUSAU/STEVENS POINT (WAOW) - The Stevens Point Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign surpassed its goal, while the Marathon County campaign is close to its.
Stevens Point Salvation Army Coordinator Bob Quam says their campaign raised $121,000. That was $14,000 more than their goal.
The Marathon County campaign raised $163,000 according to Captain Brian Goodwill. He says their goal is $165,000. He says there's still time to hit that goal as people mail and call in donations.
The Red Kettle campaign donations provide Christmas dinners, clothing and toys for families in need.
