MARSHFIELD (WAOW)--Since they couldn't go to Pasadena, some Badger fans did the next best thing. As the Badgers took on the Ducks, some fans headed to Rose Bowl Lanes in Marshfield. The bowling alley hosted a game time party there, something that is a regular tradition.
"Anytime the Badgers get into a bowl game, we try to have some sort of a little get together," said Rose Bowl Lanes owner Jerry Leonhardt. "But it gets a little special when it's the Rose Bowl because obviously we are the Rose Bowl," he said.
The event began at 3:30 P.M., just before kick-off. Many fans watching were full of excitement, as a crowd of about 50 people filled the bar.
"It's a place for them to go and enjoy it at a reasonable price. It doesn't cost them a lot of money," Leonhardt said. "They can sit with their friends and have a good time," he said.
