Joseph W. Tucker, age 68, of Stevens Point, died on December 23, 2011 at Care Partners C.B.R.F. Joe was born on May 2, 1943 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Dr. Warren and Mabel (Havrelly)Tucker. He attended schools in Denver and commenced from East High School in 1961. He worked at Presbyterian Hospital in Denver as a courier for 19 years in the radiology department. In 1990 he relocated to Stevens Point to live with his sister, Pam Enerson and her family. While in Stevens Point he worked at a variety of jobs coordinated by Community Industries, Inc.

Joe enjoyed attending church regularly and looked forward to bowling weekly. He enjoyed music and Very Special Arts, especially when they sang at the Badger Football games. Joe liked to play games with the family, enjoyed eating out at a variety of restaurants, and was addicted to I Love Lucy, Lawrence Welk, The Price is Right, and other game shows on television. Joe was a friendly and outgoing person who loved people.

He is survived by his sister, Pamela (Dr. David) and three nephews, Bradley, Gregory, and Benjamin. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Services for Joe will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stevens Point on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM with visitation at 10:00 AM until time of service. Pastor Steven Olson will officiate. Memorials may be given to Community Industries, Inc and Very Special Arts.
