WOOD COUNTY (WAOW) -- The former Wisconsin Rapids Housing Authority director learned his punishment Tuesday for the child pornography charges against him.
Jeffrey Raasch was sentenced to four years in prison and six years of extended supervision. Prosecutors say Raasch downloaded materials onto his work computer.
The DA had recommended five years jail time with ten years of supervision.
Raasch also faces other restrictions during that time.
"He will not possess any computer or Internet access unless approved by his agent," said Judge Todd Wolf. "No contact with any person under age of 18, possess no child pornography of any kind."
The judge said he made his decision based on the severity of the crime. The district attorney and defense attorney did not wish to comment.
