New information in Clark Co. unsolved homicide

Clark County sheriff's officials say a new witness has provided additional information in the 2001 murder of a hunter.

Detective Kerry Kirn says the witness told investigators the pickup seen in the area where James Southworth was shot had a white hood -- a different color than the rest of the truck. Southworth was shot twice in the back while hunting on family land near Neillsville in November 2001.

People earlier told investigators that three men, along with a white, silver or beige pickup was in the area where Southworth was shot. The new witness also told investigators the truck may have been a Chevy S-10 model.
