Aerospace company opening branch in Great Falls


GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) -- A Wisconsin-based aerospace product manufacturing company plans to open a branch in Great Falls that would employ 60 workers by the end of 2013.

The Great Falls Tribune ( ) reports EMTEQ already has hired 20 people for its Great Falls operations and expects to have its branch operating by February.

Company president, CEO and founder Jerry Jendusa says the Great Falls branch will manufacture electronic assemblies, primarily for commercial aircraft, some helicopters and some business aircraft.

EMTEQ, which was founded in 1996, has 430 employees in branches near Milwaukee, in southern Florida, Brazil, Winnipeg and Switzerland. It expects gross sales of more than $80 million this year.
