WAUSAU (WAOW)-- Economics and health, top the concerns of a new study out on Marathon County. The United Way of Marathon County issues a life report every two years. It is a survey on quality of life issues.
Community members gathered at Wausau's UW-Marathon County to learn about the study. It identifies unemployment, the need for basic necessities and learning programs for pre-school children as some of the top concerns. Alcohol/drug abuse and obesity are health-related issues ranked in the top five.
