Weather has lead to the suspension of the search for a missing Wood County man. Heavy snow started falling in that area at around 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Grand Rapids Police Chief Dave Lewandowski says Greg Senn, 29, has been missing since 5:30 a.m. Saturday. Police received a call Saturday night and had been searching since then.
Senn is 5'10" tall and was last wearing a black jacket, a Red Wings jersey and blue jeans. He was last seen on the 6000 block of 80th Street South in the Town of Grand Rapids. According to a release from the Wood County Sheriff's Department, he was walking toward his home in Wisconsin Rapids but didn't return home.
Grand Rapids Police are working with the Wood County Sheriff's Department and several other fire departments to organize search parties on foot, by ATV , using dogs, airplanes and helicopters.
Police hope to resume their search when the heavy snow lifts.
