Fans in a state of shock after loss at Lambeau

GREEN BAY (WAOW)-- It was a tough night for Packers fans at Lambeau Field. Some fans told Newsline 9 they never expected to walk out of the stadium's doors on Sunday-- for the last time this season.

Thousands of fans packed the concourse as the final minutes of the game ticked away.

And even though the outcome wasn't what Packers fans had hoped for, many still wore their green and gold with pride.

Some fans said they were in a sate of shock and didn't think the season would end the way it did. But some said it was still worth it to watch a game at Lambeau stadium no matter what the outcome.

"The Giants came to play and they played rather well. We just didn't execute and turned the ball over too many times. Can't win the game when you turn the ball over," said Glenn Peronto from Milwaukee.

Turnover was the word of the night in Green Bay. Many fans argued the Packers downfall was dropped passes.

Despite the outcome, fans said they will never turn their back on the team they love.
