After fighting a most courageous battle with Adrenal Cancer and Cushings Disease, Carla Kelley went to her heavenly home on Saturday, Jan. 14, 1012 in Wausau, WI.

Carla Sue Kelley was born in Eau Claire, WI on Aug. 8, 1960 to David and Janice Reinhardt.  She was confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Shawano and graduated from Shawano High School in 1978.  Carla also attended the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire.

Aug. 19, 1989 she was united in marriage to Monte Kelley.  They shared a special love.

Carla worked at several credit unions and the First National Bank in New Richmond.  She then became the owner of a Curves Franchise through which she made many friends.  She was very proud to be a board member of Turning Point.  She also delighted in the fact that she was chosen to be honorary Co-Chair of the Relay for Life in New Richmond in 2011.

Carla enjoyed being involved.  One of her many interests was community theatre.  This allowed her to shine both on stage and behind the scenes.  She worked with both the Spring Valley Stage Hands and the Willow River Players.

Carla was passionate in her love of family.  Any family gathering was cause to celebrate.  When Carla came, the party began.  She also treasured all of her friends.  One friend said "Carla never lets you go."  (She collected and kept them.)

Carla is survived by her husband, Monte, Deer Park; parents, David and Janice Reinhardt, Wausau; sister, Dawn Mahoney, Lodi WI; brothers, Dwight, Arvada, CO, Chris (Nikki) of Manhattan, KS; mother-in-law, Lorraine Jakelin, Eau Claire; brother-in-law, Kirby, Eleva, WI; sister-in-law, Janna Evjen, Eau Claire; niece, Candace (Cole) Bloomendal; nephews, Ryan, Haddon, David; grand-niece, Lauren and numerous other relatives and friends.
