Eau Claire (Press Release) - At approximately 1:40 a.m. on Friday, January 20, 2012, Wisconsin State Patrol dispatch received a report of a crash on I-94 eastbound between Eau Claire and Foster.
A State Patrol Trooper and an Eau Claire County Deputy responded to the scene. Township Fire Department and Eau Claire Fire Department also responded. A Toyota Camry had struck the rear of a Mega Bus. There were no injuries in either vehicle.
The driver of the Toyota, Tanya M. Crist of Osseo, was operating on a suspended drivers license at the time of the crash. She was also arrested for 4th offense operating while intoxicated by Eau Claire County Sheriff's Department. The Crist vehicle was towed from the scene and the Mega bus continued on its route following the on-scene investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
