Eldor W. Hintz

Eldor W. Hintz, 90, Weston, died on Friday, January 20, 2012 at Mount View Care Center.

Eldor was born November 27, 1921 in the Town of Weston to the late Carl and Martha (Taege) Hintz.  He married Edith Wendorf on September 18, 1943.  She preceded him in death in 1997. 

Eldor was a lifelong farmer.  He enjoyed the Milwaukee Brewers, fish fries with friends and in recent years his vegetable garden.

Survivors include his two sons Arlyn (Mary) Hintz, Merrill and Terry (Shirley) Hintz, Weston; three daughters, Carleen (Jim) Cveykus, Cheryl Hintz, and Candy Hintz, all of Weston; fourteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; three sisters: Beatrice Feith, Weston, Annabelle Kowalski, Mosinee, and Cornelia "Nene" (Clarence "Sonny") Baars, Mosinee.  He was preceded in death by his son, Dennis, two brothers and four sisters.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Peace United Church of Christ, 1524 Grand Avenue, Schofield.  Rev. Larry Treece will officiate.  Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services on Tuesday at the church.
