Joseph M. Glodowski, 94, of 8985 Hemlock Road Rosholt died Monday February 6, 2012 at his home. He was under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice.
Joseph was born on January 31, 1918 in Stevens Point. He was the son of the late Matt & Regina (Kosobucki) Glodowski. He moved to the Town of Alban when he was nine.
His marriage to Gertrude Yach took place on October 20, 1945 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galloway. After the marriage the couple settled in the Town of Alban where they ran a dairy farm.
He was a member of the St. Adalbert Men's Rosary Society. He enjoyed sharing his life experiences with his grandchildren and great grand children. As a couple they enjoyed going to church picnics and meeting up with friends and family. One of Joe's hobbies was gathering & cooking maple syrup.

Survivors include his wife Gertrude Glodowski of Rosholt. Children, Michael (Bernice) Glodowski of Rosholt, Judy (Stanley Jr.) Jakubek of Amherst Junction, Paul (Ruth) Glodowski of Bevent, Jim Glodowski of Rosholt and Tom (Kim) Glodowski of Custer.
Grandchildren; Keith (Tracy), Kevin (Jessie), Doreen (Chris), Sandy, Joe (Jennifer), Kent (Deb), Mark (Julie), Amy (Ryan), Adam (April), Kenneth, Mathew, Mary, Jessica, Jonathon, Betsy, David, Austin, Brittany, Megan, & Krista.
Great Grandchildren; McKenzie, Colin, Ryan, Adison, Mikaela, Johanna, Isaac, Colton, McKenna, Baby J., Noah, Seth, Logan & Sara. Also survived by siblings, Romona (Chester) Yach, of Wittenberg, Theresa Stanislawski of Rosholt, Agnes (Ron) Kobishop of Stevens Point. Sister in law; Carolyn Glodowski of Stevens Point.
Preceded in death by a sister Emley Fredock and a brother Ernest.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00am on Thursday February 9, 2012 at St. Adalbert Catholic Church Rosholt. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation on Wednesday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point and again on Thursday from 10:00am until time of service at the church. St. Adalbert Men's Rosary Society will combine with the general rosary at 7:00pm Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
