UPDATE - John Nelson is scheduled for a sentencing hearing in Portage County court on November 27, 2012. He's facing charges of theft, burglary and criminal damage to property. His plea hearing was on September 27th.

UPDATE - This is an update on the seven men arrested in February as the Portage County Sheriff's Department investigated a theft and burglary ring involving northeastern Portage County and northwestern Waupaca County.
Garrett Bryan has a sentencing hearing scheduled for September 11, 2012. At his plea hearing on June 22 he pleaded no contest on 4 counts of burglary and theft. Other accounts dismissed and read-in.
John Nelson had his arraignment on June 11th. He entered a non guilty plea. A pre-trial conference on July 31, 2012.
Jordan Dasko had a plea hearing on July 30, 2012. He entered a no contest plea on 2 charges and found guilty by court. Three counts were dismissed and read in. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for November 27, 2012.
Kody Kieliszewski had his arraignment on May 21, 2012. He entered a not guilty plea on two theft charges. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for July 30, 2012.
Cory Quick pleaded guilty on July 17th to 1 theft charge. Court ordered him to finish 12 months probation, 30 hours of community service. He must also obtain and maintain full-time employment or be enrolled in and attend school full time, or a combination of both resulting in full time. Engage and comply in any other counseling reasonably related to the offense as recommended and not have contact with the co-defendants.
Sam Disher pleaded not guilty on April 23, 2012 to charges of burglary, theft and criminal damage to property. A status conference scheduled for August 6, 2012.

Portage County Sheriff's Department officials report that they have arrested seven suspects after a fourth-month burglary investigation.
According to a press release, the seven are believed to be involved with eight separate incidents in northeastern Portage County and northwestern Waupaca County between 2010 and 2011.
The following suspects face 8 burglary and 17 theft charges in total:
- Garrett Bryan, 19 - 3 burglary, 5 theft charges
- John Nelson, 19 - 2 burglary, 6 theft charges
- Jordan Dasko, 25 - 2 burglary charges
- Kody Kieliszewski, 18 - 2 theft charges
- Cory Quick, 18 - 1 theft charge
- Evan Firkus, 20 - 1 theft charge
- Sam Disher, 20 - 1 burglary, 1 theft charge
The seven are accused of stealing over $40,000 worth of irrigation system wire and equipment.
