(WAOW) - A local 14-year-old boxer has already staked his claim as the best junior boxer in Wisconsin. That gave Neillsville's Jake Waltemate a chance to compete for a national title.
Waltemate won the Wisconsin silver gloves championship earlier this year to claim a spot in the tournament in Missouri. He's also the reigning Wisconsin junior Olympic champion. Waltemate has only been boxing competitively for two years now, but is already drawing interest from the future Olympics boxing association.
