SHAWANO COUNTY (WAOW) -- New charges are filed against one of the men accused in an on-going drug investigation -- involving several educators from north central Wisconsin. Bradley Maahs is now facing drug charges in Shawano County.
Langlade county has been taking the lead in this case but since Maahs lives in Shawano County, the sheriff's department there is helping with the investigation. Authorities said they found marijuana at Maahs' home in Wittenberg. On Monday, he was in Shawano County court for his initial appearance.
In December, investigators said they found bags containing plant material and field tests determined it was marijuana. In addition to the three felony charges he faces in Langlade County, Maahs now faces another felony count -- and two misdemeanor charges -- in Shawano County. We contacted Maahs' attorney but he declined to comment on the charges.
